Today is my father-in-law’s 60th birthday, and at his request, we all went down to the Minneapolis Farmers’ Market this morning to celebrate.
Visiting this particular market has been on my Minneapolis-to-do list since I moved here, so I was excited about the trip.
What an amazing place!
Where else can you get a giant chicken for your yard and Thai eggplant?
There was such an array of sights and smells and colors people watching. All the beautiful colors!
And oh so many gorgeous flowers …
Lots of the stand were selling sunflowers. They’re just so cheerful, aren’t they? This bunch is now sitting in our foyer, cheering up the place …
And oh, the food! As my FIL was chowing down on some fries and a brat at 8:30 am (and many others joined him), I wanted something sweet and delicious. This giant cinnamon roll fit the bill nicely. (But don’t worry, I shared.)
Hope you had a wonderful Saturday as well!

that’s one of my FAVORITE places in MN.
I’m glad you got to enjoy it!
