I was trying to think of something to write for Wedded Wednesday this week (never a good sign), so I Googled “marriage advice,” and came across a “funny” advice site. Anything that claims to be funny almost always isn’t, but there were a few gems.
Like this one:
Correct His Driving
How will your husband know he’s going too fast unless you continuously slam the imaginary brakes on the passenger side of the car?
Ha!
But in all seriousness, what is the best piece of marriage advice you’ve gotten? I’m quite partial to Sam’s up there: try to not get into arguments and have a good time!
Did you write a post about marriage today? Link it up below and then link back to this entry so that we can all find each other!

forgive and restore quickly and completely.
I remember being the scribe for the beatty kids on their words of marital wisdom for your wedding. They are so dear!
The best piece of advice we got was about turning towards each other rather than away from each other when we face difficult times. It is so much easier to deal with hardships when you know you are doing it with someone else.
I recently read this article in my Real Simple mag: http://www.realsimple.com/magazine-more/inside-magazine/life-lessons/make-marriage-divorceproof-00000000037759/index.html and loved it. Super practical, funny and poignant. Maybe missing the more refined and biblical sorts of advice for a lasting marriage, but good stuff nonetheless.
