Counting One Thousand Gifts — Week Two

I joined the Gratitude Community at Ann Voskamp’s blog, a Holy Experience. Multitude Monday is about counting your way to 1,000 things you are grateful for, as an act of worship.

#11-20

• Our house, which we are slowly making a home.

• The power of worship — and how He always knows to send me the right song at the right moment.

• Words, and the gifted writers who write them.

• Clean water. It never ceases to amaze me that I can fill a tub with clean, clear, delicious water with just the turn of a tap. I love having a bathtub again! (I just realized that I listed this last week, but oh, I am so grateful for water!)

• That we believers have been adopted into God’s family, and given full rights as heirs to the throne!

• That people open up their lives and experiences to strangers, through their blogs.

• The feel of Scout’s warm body when she lays across my feet.

• Clean, white sheets.

• Unexpected e-mails.

• That this is just our temporary home.
